Everson Griffen, the Viking who was a standout at USC, couldn’t seem to stay out of trouble while on a recent trip back to California.
Griffen was arrested Monday after police pulled him over by the USC campus. Griffen couldn’t produce an ID and reportedly fled on foot at that point, allegedly assaulting an officer in the process, forcing cops to restrain him with a taser. He was arrested for felony battery.
The incident came just three days after Griffen was arrested Friday night in Hollywood for being drunk in public.
Griffen was a fourth-round pick of the Vikings in 2010 after some considered him a first- or second-round prospect. In his rookie season, he appeared in 11 games with 11 total tackles.
Dude, must have been loaded.
