Texas Rangers Fan Dies After Falling From The Stands?

The Texas Rangers say a fan Shannon Stone, 39,died after falling out of the stands while trying to catch a baseball tossed his way during the game. Rangers president Nolan Ryan said after Thursday night’s game that the team was “deeply saddened” to learn that the man “has passed away as a result of this tragic accident.” The Rangers said he fell about 20 feet. The fan fell head-first and landed behind a 14-foot-high wall supporting a video board that shows replays and scores from other games.

How about those announcers laughing at the guy? Just hamming it up, laughing and criticizing a guy who literally just fell 20 feet to his death directly in front of his six year old son.  Real class act that Rangers broadcast team is, right?  I mean I’m all for off kilter jokes, but this is just low man.  Even for me.  I can only imagine how Josh Hamilton feels.  He’s the player who tossed the foul ball to the fan in the stands.  Of course it’s not his fault, but people will probably blame him anyway.
