Free Wyatt?

CSNTemple University basketball player Khalif Wyatt was arrested in Atlantic City over the weekend in connection with a prostitution bust that included 27 other people, according to a law enforcement official with knowledge of the situation. The law enforcement official said Wyatt allegedly solicited an undercover officer posing as a prostitute and was apprehended after attempting to flee the scene. Wyatt was taken into custody early on Sunday morning near the intersection of Montpelier Avenue and Pacific Avenue and charged with engaging in prostitution and resisting arrest. Agents from the FBI Lost Innocence Task Force, as well as officers from the Absecon Police Department and the Atlantic County Sherriff’s Department were involved in the two-day operation that, according to a press release, was designed to “combat the prostitution problem in Atlantic City.” A spokesman for Temple University declined comment. Wyatt, a 21-year-old from Norristown, Pennsylvania, will be a senior at Temple in the fall. In his junior season, Wyatt was named Second Team All-Atlantic 10 after finishing fourth in the conference in scoring.

See, this is the type of nonsense Chris Christie has to clean up around New Jersey.  Not the clear-heel’d whore click-clacking the streets while getting knee scars for $10 bills, but the fact that a local budding basketball star can’t even catch a break from the ho-cops on his 21st birthday.  Do you think this would have happened if Khalif were in Vegas?  Hell naw.  There’s a UNLV bench player getting blown in the back of a off-strip go-go bar as we speak.  No cops.  No arrests.  Just good old fashion American capitalism and commerce.

If Christie really wants AC to be able to compete with Vegas, he’s gonna need to get those sports books installed and get all these fake hookers off the streets.  Ain’t nobody got time to be running from some cop in a florescent green Kelly Bundy dress when you’re only looking to get some head/help support a young mother’s small business.  Victimless crime.  Time to cut that shit out, police.
